Arc 2

Not-Just-Human
Religion and Ideologies

We can only attempt to interpret the motives for previous ways of life through our encounters with the remains left behind. Their priorities, privileges, hierarchies that scaffolded living in their worlds can easily be misinterpreted after the rupture. Whether we see care or harm, virtue or sin, creation or destruction, we see it from our world. Gazing from the viewing platform of Arc 2, we can reflect on the delicate mystical impressions of early Mycenaean California, and contemplate lives lived beneath the New Aurelia dome
