Room 7
Other Museums of the Anthropocene

The Objects of the Misanthropocene exhibition is proud to include a selection of loaned objects from other Museums of the Anthropocene. In Room 7, we present a selection of the internationally renowned collections assembled by Fran Crowe, creator and curator of the 'Museum of Beyond' (www.museumofbeyond.org).

This collection imagines a future beyond the Age of Oil, a world without plastics apart from the fragments deposited in the oceans that continue to wash up on our shores. This Museum of Beyond imagines what a future society might make of these objects - and what it might think about us.
