Remains of a Fashion item from the Age of Affluence.
Privileged individuals, who had secured surplus resources, were able to amass expensive and exotic materials such as nylon, a luxury textile derived from toxic fossil fuels that were ubiquitous in the age of affluence, with the obvious consequences for those of us that came after. As is commonly practiced, textiles from the affluent past have been extensively used and reused, therefore only small figments survive into our world.
